Functional Gut Disorders

Gut problems affect millions of people in the UK and they represent one of the most common presentations to Doctors and Nutritional Therapists alike. Functional Gut Disorders (FGDs) represent conditions where there are no visible signs of disease or structural problems, and includes Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). It can be very frustrating to be told “there is nothing wrong with you” when you have painful bloating, cramps, irregular bowels and so on, and that appear at random.

So, this webinar is dedicated to those who suffer with digestive problems for which there does not appear to be any obvious solution, and to the practitioners that have clients with these FGDs. I present the seven most likely causes of abdominal bloating and IBS, which includes food sensitivities and imbalanced gut bacteria as found in Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), and four lesser well-known causes.

Then, I will share with you the possible solutions to each of the main causes, not all of which are nutritional.

The intention is to educate and then at least give you good direction to help you to support your gut health and be free of what can be a very real drain on your quality of life!
