Long Covid is now firmly in our consciousness, and you may be aware that more people are affected by Long Covid than by the infection of SARS-Cov-2 itself. In this revisit to the Long Covid story, last presented in July 2021, Antony will describe the nature of the condition and present the long list of signs and symptoms that have been associated with this post viral condition. This includes the overlap with a histamine condition known as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and the increasing awareness that the reactivation of previously experienced viruses within the body (which virtually everyone will have been exposed to) may be at the root of the condition. Antony will present a review of the more recent research into the condition that has been conducted in the previous 18 months, and he will aim to identify and explain the mechanisms which underpin the condition. He will present what treatments have been shown to be effective for sufferers and what you can do for yourself to enhance your well-being and energy. This includes the use of specific key nutrients.
